Join Copenhagen’s most active pickleball club and help tell the story of Denmark’s fastest growing sport.
At Danske Pickleballers (DPB) we are not just building a sports club. We are building a community. We are a community of around 1,000 people across our platforms, with about 80 court visits every week, sessions that regularly fill up with waitlists, weekly DUPR-rated matches, teams in the national Team Tour, members competing at international tournaments, a partnership with FZ FORZA, and in November 2026 we host DPB Open Winter in Nordhavn.
We are growing fast, and now we are missing the person who will tell the story.
This is not an internship where you fetch coffee. You get responsibility for our content. You get to experiment, test ideas, shoot, edit and help shape how thousands of people experience DPB online. If you love social media, video and storytelling, you will struggle to find a more hands-on internship.
What you will do
- Shoot and edit Reels, TikToks and highlights from sessions, events and tournaments.
- Run our Instagram and Facebook with a consistent content plan, and get us going on TikTok.
- Document DPB Open Winter from the first preparations to the finished aftermovie.
- Tell the stories of our members, our community and the journey toward our vision: the coolest pickleball scene in Denmark.
- Create content together with our sponsors and partners.
- Contribute to the content strategy, not just execute it.
We think you
- study multimedia design, communication, journalism, marketing, media studies or something similar.
- can shoot and edit video for social media (a phone is perfectly fine).
- have an eye for what works on Instagram and TikTok.
- take initiative and work independently.
- love creating content.
Know pickleball? Perfect. You don’t? Then we will teach you, and of course you get to play for free.
What you get
- Creative ownership of a growing sports organization’s social media.
- A portfolio full of real cases, events and campaigns.
- Responsibility from day one and a short path from idea to publish.
- Close sparring with Max, the club’s employed lead on growth, events and content, who will be your day-to-day supervisor.
- Access to events, tournaments and courts.
- A budget for testing good ideas.
- A strong network in Danish pickleball: clubs, the federation, sponsors and Københavns Kommune.
- The chance to continue after the internship. We gladly hire talented people for paid student jobs, freelance work or other roles when there is a match.
Practical
- Copenhagen, mainly Vesterbro and Østerbro/Nordhavn, with sessions elsewhere in the city and room for remote work.
- Start autumn 2026 or spring 2027.
- Internship period and hours arranged to fit your study programme.
- The internship is unpaid and compatible with SU as part of your degree. We take care of the internship agreement, supervision and concrete learning goals.
Sound like something for you?
Send a few lines about yourself, and ideally 1-3 examples of something you have made (a video, a social media profile, a school project or similar), to info@danskepickleballers.dk.
We interview on a rolling basis and close the posting when we have found the right person.
